Our Story, Your Path

Experience Pilates Redefined

At Studio Skulpt, we believe in the power of movement to heal and transform. Our founder, Beth Acheson, discovered Pilates after a life-changing injury. In 2014, she herniated three discs in her back and struggled with constant pain. A friend suggested she try pilates and it changed everything. After experiencing firsthand how pilates helped strengthen her body and relieve her pain, she fell in love with the practice and became certified. She began teaching in CA, refining her skills and deepening her passion for helping others. In 2024, she relocated to TN to open her own studio, creating a welcoming space where clients of all levels can build strength, improve flexibility and feel their best.

Begin with simple poses and gradually increase intensity as your body adjusts. It’s important to listen to your body and progress at your own pace.

What equipment do I need for yoga?

A yoga mat is essential, and props like blocks and straps can help enhance your practice. Comfortable clothing is also important to allow for full movement.

When can I practice yoga after eating?

It's best to wait at least 1-2 hours after eating before practicing yoga. This helps prevent discomfort during your poses.

What if I feel stuck with my practice?

What's the difference between yoga and meditation?

Yoga focuses on physical postures and breath control to enhance overall well-being, while meditation is primarily a mental practice that fosters mindfulness, relaxation, and clarity.

What are the benefits of a regular yoga practice?

A consistent yoga practice improves flexibility, strengthens the body, reduces stress, enhances mental clarity, and promotes overall well-being, both physically and emotionally.

Answer Of Some Pilates Questions

Do I need to be flexible to start Pilates?

No! Pilates is designed for all levels.. You'll improve flexibility over time through consistent practice, but you don't need to be flexible to start.

How often should I do Pilates to see results?
